Seedlings & Babies!

This is me, hubbo, my little dear and my friends new baby boy Lucas. He was born on the 24th April weighing 7lbs 9oz. The cushion I am holding is something I made for him out of Heather Ross's campervan material. Me & my friend have always had this thing when ever one of us can afford a campervan we have to go and pick the other party up for days out. As yet we are both campervanless!
This is Mummy Eve with baby Lucas.

Here are my new seedlings, there are sunflowers, rudebekia's and can you see I have planted the tomato & cucumber in the grow bags as they have started to flower.

Her are my little gem lettuces just poking out there heads. I have been today to buy some french beans that are suitable to grow in a container, so my Dad says.
On my next post I will share with you pictures of my new purchase from the flea market on Friday. It a fab chair that needs recovering, I attend a Soft Furnishings & Upholstery class every Thursday night so that will be my next project after the roman blinds I am making for my studio. The studio is not finished yet but I will have the blinds & recovered my new chair.
I decided to make the plunge on Sunday morning and go to a car boot sale in search of the prize possessions that you all seem to return with. But I have to say I won't be returning soon, my opinion of them is still the same. Tatty rubbish that know one else wants and full of scutters. Sorry if I offend any of you guys out there, but I feel my local car boot has turned into a site for a lots of traders and some where people make an extra weekly income. The one thing I did come home with was a herb rack for 50p. I will paint it and put my cotton reels on it.
Any way must go as promised little dear I will take her to the park. Hope you all had a good Bank Holiday weekend!

No you are right Vanessa, carboots are not what they used to be. I remember me and my mum coming home with carrier bags full of stuff to resell! Now all there seems to be is market stuff, hot-dog vans and old tat! x

Congratulations to your friend, the little bubba is so cute.
Hope you find some goodies at the boot fairs, we poppe dto one and came home with some books and a pretty tea plate. I don't know where these other people find such fabulous items but they must be out there somewhere. Happy looking.
Well done with the seeds.
Enjoy the sun.
Hugs.

Hi there!

What a beautiful babe! Hope your friend is managing to get some sleep - such a tiring time, but a time to treasure. Your little one is a cutey too. What a lovely thought to escape off in a campervan and travel around, especially this time of year - hope you get round to it at some stage. Good luck at the boot sale -I can't stand them. Best wishes, Teresa.

I really must get in the garden, everyone seems to have done their planting except me. Looks like you had a good weekend. My friends little one is called Lucas, and seems to be a popular name at the moment. xxx

He is a gorgeous little chap, and to think it was not so long ago we were wondering when they would both turn up!
Those Grow Houses are great, I have one too.
