I know its a bit of a mess but that was my 1st job, I had a proper sort through. I put all my fabric in one place rather than been in every nook & crevice available.

Ship up or ship out!
I used to say the very same words to any members of my staff that I felt were not giving a 100% This words sprang true today but for myself. I have been a little indecisive as to how my life is panning out today. Should I go back to the world of proper work, should I send my little dear to 2 1/2 days full time nursery, What the hell! After speaking to Sara today I decided to grab myself by the horns and just get on with it! I kept using the excuse that I did not sew as much as I could as I did not have the room, I did not feel inspired. So when I shipped my little dear off to Pre-school I just got on with it!This is my sewing/storage room at the moment and to be honest I should be thankful I have my own creative room, where no one but me goes in.

Hi there,
It looks like I'm not the only one taking the bull by the horns. Here is the details of the website where I got my basket from www.thecamomilecupboard.co.uk
Oh and your fishcakes look rather yummy :) Happy 2008!

How do craft rooms get so messy? every time I go into my studio I have to tidy up so then I spend my time moving bits round when I could be creating.
Looks like you had a very busy day!
Been sorting out my fabric stash this morning. Thanks for stopping by my blog - sorry could not find an email contact. x
Well done sweetie for getting yorself in the right frame of mind to just get on and do it. It is so hard with little ones both mine are under the age of 3 and it all gets a little mad here sometimes too.
Can you tell me the price of the valentine heart? I'll order one along with a adult size green flower aproon for my Mum's 60th birthday. X
Thanks honey speak soon.
Hugs.

Thanks Vanessa! Glad to see you're just getting on with it too ;) Don't you just feel so much better after you finish something?? Love the blog xx
Hi Vanessa, thanks so much for coming over to my blog and leaving a comment. In all the blog trawling I have done, I hadn't yet discovered you! I wish I had a separate room for trying out crafting, we only have two bedrooms and the second bedroom is being used for just that, and the computer tucked away in the corner. Your home-made fishcakes look just like mine turn out, it is really difficult to keep them in one piece, but as you say they taste great, after eating these you are very reluctant to ever buying a shop bought effort again. x
Well done you, you sound very inspired! Love the little heart and those fishcakes look yummy to me.

Hi Vanessa, I know how you feel. We are having a shed load of work done on our house (courtesy of damage caused by vibrations from a well known house developer, Agh !) and so when we move back in I will have a new & improved workroom - this, I hope, will inspire me to stop faffing around when my daughter is pre-school for 2 days and get on with being more creative.
Nothing like your own space is there. Just need to source storage now ...
Love your creations
x
